Ive been neglecting this site for a while. I guess ever since we launched the Toronto Star Photoblog. I feel like i should post over here instead of here. I have to find a use for this space however…..

December 6, 2009 – Swati Sharan, 33, holds a candle and rose for the 14 women killed by Mark Lepine at Ecole Polytechnique in 1989. A candle light vigil was held at the University of Toronto.

interesting comment you made. discovered your photography through what the paper published for your 2010 review, then found your website, looked at what you’ve published here vs the photoblog and one clear reason is your work is better exhibited without editorial restrictions. powerful and memorable images, in addition to the poignant narrative told through your photographs.
Thanks for the comment David. The Toronto Star Photoblog doesnt have any editorial restrictions. The choices of what photos go up on the site are made by the photographers alone.
